Easy-to-Use Menu System
You can customise the Tait Orca 5040 by selecting your own features for the menu – these include display backlighting as well as handset and economy modes.

Alphanumeric Keypad
The 5040 offers a simple-to-use keypad that enables full alphanumeric dialling. Features include a keypad lock that prevents you from unintentionally placing a call, and a personal security pin that prevents unauthorised use of your radio.

Call Queuing
The Tait Orca 5040 can queue up to 20 calls for future reference and call back.

Conventional Mode
You can operate the 5040 in conventional mode if you’re out of range of the trunked network or need access to a conventional network. Access up to 10 conventional channels, each programmable with CTCSS and the monitor function.
