The 2110M Manpack Transceiver delivers uncompromising value for your mission critical operations with the lowest current consumption and Codan’s intelligent battery management system, which makes it easy to manage your batteries and reducecoperational costs. It continuously displays the battery condition and charging state, giving you the ultimate confidence in mission critical operations. Three battery types are available to tailor the 2110M Manpack Transceiver to your mission requirements

Intelligent battery system

An integrated battery management system continuously monitors battery condition, usage and remaining capacity. The transceiver front panel screen clearly displays the battery status including the remaining operating hours.

The intelligent battery management system also prevents the battery from being over charged by automatically switching off when fully charged. This ensures maximum battery life and user convenience

Long battery life

Codan’s 2110 Manpack has by far the lowest current consumption of any available manpack transceiver. It only requires 120mA of standby current, which enables it to be operated continuously for many days on a single battery charge. This typically means you do not need to carry numerous spare batteries

Battery capacity & chargers

Nickel Metal Hydride batteries are suitable for heavy duty operation where spare batteries can be swapped, charged and reused on a continual basis. This battery comes with a capacity of 13Ah giving you up to 50 hours operation (assuming 9:1 receive to transmit ratio)

Durability

Codan's battery packs are waterproof, fully immersible to 1m, and are ruggedised with high grade, high impact plastics; a necessity for military operations

• The 9350M antenna is constructed to withstand and operate in severe environments and temperatures. Its main section is constructed of fibreglass reinforced nylon and it exceeds the shock and vibrations requirements for MIL-STD-810 and
• Fast, optimum tuning
• Typically, the 9350M takes only a few seconds to tune to any frequency
• High radiation efficiency
• The 9350M antenna has a comparably high rate of radiation efficiency, rated for maximum voice power of 125 watts PEP
• Continuous tuning
• The whip antenna provides continuous tuning to any required frequency over the transmit/receive operating range of 2–30 MHz
• Two whips supplied
• Two whip top sections are provided with the 9350M antenna – the primary whip encased in polyurethane covered fiberglass, and a shorter backup whip made from stainless steel

Codan provides a complete range of antenna solutions to cover the needs for mobility, quick deployment, and short/long range communications

• Tactical Whip Antennas
• These lightweight whip antennas are suitable for on-the-go communications over short to medium distances (available in lengths of 1. 5m (5') or 3 m (10')
• Tactical Long Wire Antenna
• With its 10 m (30') length the long wire antenna achieves greater communication performance (1.6 MHz and 30 MHz operation) than the shorter whip antennas. It comes in an ultra lightweight kit that can be deployed in minutes
• Tactical Dipole and Broadband Antennas
• Broadband or dipole antennas deliver superior communications performance. The broadband antenna is recommended for multi-frequency operation including ALE, and the dipole antenna provides the best performance on a single frequency

Codan Manpack Installation Brackets 2110M

Codan has developed a complete range of easy to use mounting accessories for the 2110/V Manpack Transceiver, which are designed for quick, simple and convenient vehicle or base installation, and can be easily configured to suit your mission requirements.

Mounting cradle

Heavy duty docking cradle used to secure the 2110M Manpack Transceiver in a vehicle or base.

Supplied with quick release latches and screw kit the radio with battery pack attached can be quickly secured or removed for on-the-run military operations

Mounting cradle with interface adaptor

This mounting kit includes a mounting cradle with an interface adaptor for external antenna, GPS, data interfaces, DC battery c h a rger, and the 935 OM Automatic Tuning Whip Antenna

The kit also includes a speaker amplifier and external speaker, and can be adapted to interface with a VP-116 Voice Privacy Unit via an NGT VP-116 Interface cable.

External DC back panel & vehicle kit

A DC supply back panel for the mounting cradle that provides DC connection for the transceiver directly to the vehicle battery

The vehicle kit comes with the back panel, cables, screws, fuse and accessories

This option is recommended for vehicle installations or where mounting space is limited.

An optional voltage regulator is available for operation in 24/26 V vehicles
