Communication Specialists Ltd have an extensive Hiring Department specialising in the Hire of Radio Communication equipment.

Equipment is available for Short or Long term Hire. Collection and delivery charges are included in the price of the Hire. We provide a complete package comprising :

Radio equipment
Battery chargers
Spare battery
Carry cases
Remote mic./ speaker/ earpieces/ headsets
Heavy duty headsets are available if required

Hire Equipment

We have the following Radio Communication equipment available for Hire :

1. Hand-held Portable Radios - Walkie talkies
2. Mobile radios – Vehicle units
3. Base Stations and Repeater Stations
4. Multi-channel Trunking Systems

Portable to Portable

For on-site use, where communication is required over an area of up to 1 Km, we recommend the use of Hand-Held portables talking directly from one Portable to another.

Base/Repeater Systems

Where more extensive coverage is required we recommend the incorporation of a Base or Repeater Station into the system. A well sited Base/Repeater Station will increase the range between portables up to approximately 5 Km dependent on the terrain.

Trunking Systems

If communication is required between a large number of personnel – this would normally apply to systems having more than 100 users – we recommend the use of a Multi-channel Trunking system. Such a system can accommodate many user groups such as Security, Transport, Medical etc. We will engineer such a system to meet your individual requirements.

Terms of Hire

The standard period of Hire is on a Weekly basis but we will be pleased to offer a Package Deal and special pricing for long term or multiple hire.
